Judas Priest/Anthrax Live At The Orpheum Theater Boston MA, Feb. 14th, 2002

BUSH is the man!!! He's the man in Washington and he is the man in Anthrax!!! He is so great...scream...sing....so much raw power and energy...really got the crowd going. Not a bad set.

Among the Living
Got the Time
Inside Out
Fueled
SuperHero (new tune, think Among The Living meats Vol. 8)
Antisocial
Caught in A Mosh
Bring the Noise
Only

Overall Grade: A

Judas Priest -- Totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ripper...you are the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Opened with “Metal Gods” and ended with “Hell Bent for Leather”.....but what a ride in between!!!!

These guys kill me for their age...such energy...KK nailed every solo: Glen was smoking all night long. Ian was Ian never stops moving back and forth. Scott Travis is such an underrated drummer...This guy has amazing hand speed...hits the drums hard...very hard...doesn't change the older material to fit his style. He's just awesome.

But the star of the show was Tim Ownes. Really truly has killer range. This guy gets it. Understands the priest crowd, doesn't change anything in the older material....

Came out on a Harley on the encore before “United.” Great to see some different older songs like “Desert Plains” get played...”Turbo Lover” back in the set…sounded better than it did in 1986!!!

Crowd was great all night...I had a pot head in front of me...I think I'm still high from the second hand smoke!!!

Mostly male (gee-big shock) 35-45 but some younger dudes who were probably there for Anthrax, even though they been around since 1984!!!

Metal Gods
Heading Out to the Highway
Touch Of Evil
Bloodstained
One on One
Hell is Home
Burn in Hell
Diamonds & Rust
Beyond The Realms
Green Manalishi
United (very appropriate after 9/11)
Desert Plains
Breaking The Law
Turbo Lover
Painkiller
Hellion/ Electric Eye
Living After Midnight
Hell Bent For Leather

overall A+++++++++++
:headbang: :headbang:

Wait a minute. Are you talking about the Judas Priest show at the Orpheum? If so, Ripper rode out the Harley right before Painkiller, if I remember right. And I don't think Hell is Home and Burn in Hell were played back to back.

That's how these redneck fuckers say it when I say I saw them.......same with "Who's N THRAX?,THEYS JUST TRYIN' TA CASH IN ON THAT DAMN OSAMA BEN LAYDAN!" I swear I keep tellin' these hillbillys that they've been around sinc the arly '80's! And god! I'm country, but I can pronounce words and names correctly!
I guess I'm just a REDNECK PUNK! Anyhoo....I've never been a fan of Priest, but Ripper made the songs a little better. I have DEMOLITION now, it fucking rocks! I guesse I didn't like Halford.......but I love IRON MAIDEN. Go figure.
