Even if Kerry did everything exactly right I think Bush would still have a 60% chance of winning or so, so I can't blame Kerry completely. Shit, the facts that he's 1) from Massachusetts and 2) vaguely humane lose him 20-30% of the national vote right there, without any fault of his own.
