Ha! I love those crazy Japanese game shows and prank shows.

Here's a good compilation of classic Japanese pranks and some really odd commercials thrown in...

Shreddy, that was one quality post! I watched every second of all four videos - and actually blurted out laughing several times! Haven't done that in a long time. Japanese game shows are terrific! What is the name of this one? Clear, Not Clear? I love it! Thanks for the good laughs! I think I *snorked* when everyone "hit the deck" in the first clip! Priceless!

Yippee, that was heartwarming! I love it, thank you! =)

yes, I own seasons 1&2 DVD set with the original cast. I'm now looking around for Season 3 when uncle Jack showed up and Marshall left the show.

Best Buy carries both dvds.

Ahhh, Uncle Jack....

I remember not liking season 3 so much as a kid now because, even with Uncle Jack supplanting Rick Marshall, the series just took a turn I never really could take much interest in. I've seen the season 3 DVDs all over the place around here but just haven't felt the yearning to purchase. Season 1 is still hands (claws for us Sleestak folk) down my favorite.

Now this is cool! It's at Cortez Banks, which is miles off the coast of San Diego. There is an underwater mountain range there that causes these huge waves. This guy received $66k for this: $1k for every foot.

Wow, that was quite a ride!

One of the 'related' videos that pops up after that one finishes is "Newfoundland Ferry in massive waves," and that vid was pretty amazing, too. There HAD to be a lot of sick passengers aboard, as the ship -- and it's a BIG ferry -- was rocking and plunging lengthwise in the swells. (!)

Wow that was an incredible wave! I got uncomfortable just watching it swell. :yow:
I'm impressed at how long he stuck with it before toppling over. Anyone know if he made it clear to the very very very end?
