buying a guitar pre for silent recording...

im currently using a mesa dual recto and running it with IRs in my daw, im trying to get some more tones in my arsenal though, and after searching around i came down to the Ada Mp-1 or the Marshall JMP-1 pre.

A buddy of mine put this demo of his JMP-1 together for me to get an idea of what it was capable of and i think im sold on the JMP-1. but im looking for a few more opinions on the unit or other suggestions seeing as odds are i wont be able to try it out before i purchase it.

Speaking only from experience with the ADAMP1. It has it's place, it will do a thrashy 80's sounding tone for days, but not really the more modern hi-gain. JMP1 is a more versatile preamp and will have better resale.
