Yes... the A-design would be a great unit too... have to look into that 2... DAMN ...there are just to many good pres in that price range :|

Aurora Audio GTQ2. Designed by Geoff Tanner who used to work at Neve.
Plus you get a decent 3-band EQ in this box which is nice for tracking. Great all around pre. TG2 is great for guitars but the GTQ2 is probably all around more versatile IMO. Also you really can't go wrong with the GR either. I have used them all but I would go with the GTQ2 if I had to choose only one.
