Buying Cubase 5 from overseas

So, I was using C5 demo and that expired. I went to Steinberg site to upgrade my C4 studio to C5 for $249. However, Steinberg website does not accept orders from overseas (I am from Brazil), and Gigasonic, the order website that accepts shipments to Brazil, dont carry the C5 upgrade on their product line. I actually just need the damn licence to update my Steinberg key, as I am able to ship the package to a friend in Orlando. Anyone has any idea on what should i do ? btw, buying in Brazil is not an option as usual, as i costs over $1000 here.
