It happened to me once. I sent an email and told them and then the company sent me a postage free envelope to return the Cd to them, and they sent me the correct CD. It was nice to get rid of the Shostakovich album.
But it feels like different companies handles errands like this in different ways.
@fireangel: www.play.com - i ordered a dvd and got a completely different one. now i'm proud owner of "robin of sherwood - the complete collection". this item, on a side note, is more expensive than the one i wanted (which, if you're curious, is this). anyway, as soon as it arrived i sent them an email and now i'm waiting for an answer. reading their returns policy, it appears i should phone them before sending it back, but i was hoping i could solve this thing by email, as i'm not too confident of my spoken english.
I read their return policy and it really seems you have to call because of that "authorization", but furthermore your return and receiving the right one should not be a problem if you just follow what they explain there. Since you have some more days time to return (I assume it was just recently) you may wait one more day for a mail, but then in fact it looks like calling.
I think your english is fine, and it are just few sentences to say, probably they just wanna make sure the whole procedure isn´t done for no reason.
=)
as i didn't get any answer after more than 24 hours, i decided to call. it looks like everything's been worked out. they gave me authorisation to send back the package and they even placed instantly another order for the item i originally wanted.
thanks for your support.
btw, yeah, I am always curious I heard of that 24 series, but I never download series or watch/buy many movies, because it is just out of my capacities. I´m all obsessed with music
