Bypassing Mbox pre's

I've read that the only way to bypass the pre's in the Mbox is to connect it via S/PDF. Well, I have an FP10. This would work.... correct? I could use the pre's in my fp10 and then have the mbox to use and track with protools... right?

Maybe, but protools will still only allow you to use two inputs or whatever your Mbox has. I doubt your other pre's are way better honestly.

haha alright. After I started looking up some info, I didn't realize so many people hated the presonus preamps too. I can't tell a difference yet, so o well. lol
