Can you hear what I hear?...

This may sound a bit outlandish, but it recently dawned on me that most of the melodies in TGCD remind me of the Tarantellas they play at popular festivals in the south of Italy, especially In the White I think it has something of rustic chivalry.

I know most of you northern europeans may not have a clue what I'm on about, but I thought I'd give it a go to find out if anyone's had the same impression.

I noticed something familiar about it myself...although I've never actually been to an Italian festival. Interesting observation though.
