Unfortunately I have to announce that Saxon have to cancel all festival appearances in South America due to recording commitments. Please don't book any flights. I am really sorry to have to send this news.

What a load of crap, sounds like the same bullshit they said about not being able to get visas for the U.S. shows last year. If, this is really the true reason. Could Thomas Jensen tell me what you do? You can’t get visas, or plan recording time. WTF what can you do?

Please don't book any flights...................How many people book flights for an event that is past tense? Are we travelers in time? What promoter will chance this band again,this wasn't a small tour of their own,they were part of a festival,this was a pretty good lineup too.Seems almost suicidal,from a business standpoint.

I believe there was a festival performance cancelled in Texas a couple years ago and the reason then was they were recording Lionheart.Acceptable then,it was only one show and was cancelled with plenty of notification.This time more dates affected,a no show to the event,no notification(until it was too late).No chance for the promoter to book another band.I think its the only excuse they think can be used,since we are all anxiously waiting for the new album,it worked before.I know things happen,but they must have known weeks ahead of time,even months,that there would be no performance,come on guys,what honestly is the real reason here???

I'm a fan of the music and try not to get into the personal dealings too much, but it's comments like those (by Saxon management) that really irks me.

It's an insult to our (Saxon fans) intelligence with the lame excuses presented.

I'd be much more understanding if they would come out and say, we negotiated and negotiated, but never got the money necessary to make this feasible for Saxon to play. But, regardless, Saxon should have canceled a month (or even months) ago, rather than the few days they have been giving.

It's very disrespectful.

Maybe saxon should think about hiring iron maidens management team, Dear god saxon deff have the music, but management a BIG UPS or should i say down. Tours cancelled and release date on new dvd also bullshit.

Come on saxon you deserve much better managment then your getting, bet us fans could run it better then what you have at present, at least our hearts are into your music and not in our wallets and up our arse.

Saxon would certainly be a lot better off with management like Maiden, and I doubt the fame and the tours would get to their heads


and people that have been waiting years because they keep cancelling tours over bullshit would be so freaking psyched to see them.

Didn't we see this same shit last year...and by the way thist time it was a bus ticket I had booked to see them in Mexico...not a a few plane tickets as was the deal last year for the US gigs..

Anyway we used the lovley bus tickets to go see my wife's family...so I got fucked over twice this time!!!!!
