I was thinking about where to store my cds in my dorm room and came across this website. It's a series of clear protectors you can store jewel cases in and stick to the wall. I was wondering if anyone else has done something similar to this or knows of any other ways to achieve similar results.
Hey that's actually pretty cool! I thought I was going to see something else when I read the title, but this is better!
The only thing similar that I've done is I found this thing called "CD WALLPAPER." It was a plastic sheet with pockets/sleeves for the discs and jackets, then it has metal eyelets at the top and these really nice oversized "pushpins." It was only about 6 pockets wide and 8 pockets long, but several of them put up together looks real cool and cover a whole wall! Here's a site that had it but it's discontinued: http://www.baronbob.com/cdholderwallpaper.htm Maybe you can still find something similar.
It doesn't appear to be available from thinkgeek any more either. I followed the buy it link, but couldn't locate it. I might look around some more to see if I can find something similar. The one thing I like about the CD clearpockets is they accommodate the case as well so I can get those up and out of the way.
Planning for Christmas
Yeah I agree that not being to add the cases has caused a bit of a headache. It was great in college since I could leave the cases at home. Of course though that was when I was the most obsessive about my collection being all together, in the case, in order, and perfect. Sorry the thinkgeek link didn't work either!
