Which tunes feature real strings on Watershed? For instance, the string work on "Coil", is it keyboard generated or real? Is that a cello by the way?

Check out some of the many interviews with Mikael and Fredrik that were posted here. All violins, cellos, flutes, oboes, English horns, etc. are REAL.

I haven't got the album yet, but I agree with Perdido; shouldn't the additional instruments/players be listed for each song they appeared in? Sort of like in the booklet for Scott Walker's Drift album? Of course, I guess not knowing adds a bit of mystery, but if I played oboe for opeth I would certainly want to be credited... not that I can play the oboe...

The performers of the real instruments are listed in the booklet along with Natalie Lorichs, the female singer.

I believe there are strings in that section as well? From what I've heard it sounds like some strings over there.
