This includes Vinyl (the vendor room/bar).

From the venue's website:

NEW IN 2013! CENTER STAGE – THE LOFT – VINYL IS NOW A SMOKE FREE BUILDING!

I have an eye issue that is aggravated by smoke, so I am incredibly happy to hear this!

Cool, maybe we can stop all the drunk people who spill their beers all over my CDs. And keep out the drunk guys who argue with me about things they know nothing about.:

Drunk guy: That is not a Prophet album. I know those guys personally and that is not one of their albums"

Me: Yes it is, it is their first album, not as common as 'Cycles of the Moon'.

Drunk Guy: As he gets louder. "No it is not the same Prophet who put out 'Cycles of the Moon' I know those guys personally."

ME: Ok then whatever. Could you please stop spilling your beer on my CDs?"

Yet to have a smoker bother me. But yeah it is cool though, it does get thick in there at times. I have no problem walking outside, gives me a break from drunk guy. HAHA

On a related note...I've always appreciated the attendees who voluntarily went outside to smoke.

Also this is great news. It got pretty bad in there after a few hours.

Hate to pile on for any of the smokers but this is great news
while I have not had an major asthma attack since 1993 when I all but passed out at a Dream Theater show on Long Island that was overcrounde
Its still dormant in me and it was almost activated by smoke at the Sabaton show in Tampa..

the only thing that bothers me more is when some selfish fuck starts chain smoking pot nearby and iminhaling his second hand smoke,as I et random drug sreened,I am not risking my career because some puffer wants to get high for that 7 minute drone part in a prog metal song

But great news

Malibu Beach Club? I was there. As bad as it was, the following night's show at Birch Hell in NJ was worse. (!)

As a heavy smoker, I USUALLY (not always, but usually...sometimes you get cornered by a drunkard and can't get outside) go outside for a smoke. Even I, as a heavy smoker, can agree that room gets WAY too smokey.

Never noticed weed in the bar or any where at the fest, whoever this is I want to hang with them.

Never noticed it in the venue. We usually go somewhere outside/off venue property to do this.:)
