Snare is a D1 and ae3000 on top with a i5 below. 421s on toms, SM81s for OHs with 414s on HH and ride, and a D6 and beta91 on kick. Everything sounds godly through the spider.

They do have a pretty killer space for practice and their screen printing business. They're above a towing company so they cant get to loud during business hours. Made for some late nights tracking drums.

It seams like they're not smoking as much this time but its probably because they have a room for that instead of filling up the control room.

Tracking into Nuendo actually, not that their's much difference.

As with pretty much every Cephalic album, it doesn't sounds much like the last one. Much darker feel this time.

Yea, big change. New and better bass player so expect bass to play a bigger role in the mix picture. This guys got killer gear. 6 string warrior bass, Aguilar amplification (with a endorsement in the works), accugroove cabs, and he just smokes.

Nice! So what guitar amps are gonna be used?? I always wondered how Zach got that grindy distortion on all the albums. Mainly to the intro to "Jihad" on the first album.
