Changing strap button loacation

the only advice i could give you would to take it to a guitar tech.

well, what you need to do basically is take the screw out that holds the button, drill a hole of the right size into the guitar where you want the button to be and screw the button there
the bad thing is: you need to drill another hole in your guitar

EDIT: oh, and you could probably damage the finish around the area where you drill so you'd need to get more info about that first and be very carefull!
