Chasing the Korn sound

Currently working with a band who are looking for the korn sound.
Not the mix yet and we have to track vocals and do a few drum edits but how is it so far?
The bass and guitar relationship is the thing that I am not sure about.
Does the bass need more "click"?

I think it could use more click How is the bassist playing btw? Is he playing it how Fieldy plays bass (slapping percussive style). Sounds good though.

btw which album are they talking about. Because their first album of course sounds way different from their newest album.

Sorry.
I might have overstated my original post.
They are looking for a similar sound to Korn rather than sounding exactly the same.
The bass player is mainly finger playing rather than slapping.

Can't listen right now but, if I'm not wrong, the Korn "clicky" bass sound is done by placing a mic in front of the right hand to get the sound of the strings. Mixed with the DI/amp signal, it adds air and definition.

The original Korn sound from their earlier stuff came from a couple of things, Fieldy's Slap bass style of playing with a bass tone that lacked mids, Low tuned 7 string guitars and not playing along to a click.
