Why on earth are the cheapos so much easier to solder together? I have a bag of redco TRS connectors and 8 switchcraft ones.
Guess witch connector is easier to do a good job on?
Forget about the neutrik ones holly shit were those difficult. (although I do like the plastic thing that pinches down on the wire more than the crimping solution).
XLR is a little different, they are all hard.
But I found a way to make it a tad easier with the XLR ends. I drilled a 1/16" hole in the connection points to feed the wire through (plus it looks cleaner and I seem to get better solder points). Oh and I bought new tips this time around.
