I reccomended this band back in the summer, but no one even responded, so here we go again! Everyone check out A Grand Magnificence (1998-EP, 4 songs) by the band Depresy (Slovakia). It usually comes with ...and There Came the Tears of Christ demo (1995) tacked on at the end. The EP is really good, featuring 3 originals and one Hypocrisy cover. The 3 songs show an Epic, ultra melodic direction, featuring mostly slow, melodic guitar lines broken up with amazingly catchy fast parts. Any Opeth fan would like this EP. The demo thats tacked on is good, but not amazing, and it shows how far they came between that demo and the EP. Quite good stuff.
