Really, I would agree with him that there is no jazz in motW, but I can totally see how people would hear it that way.

Ah. Well there is jazz influence, to my ears. In things such as scales and chords used. Not necessarily in musical approach.

But its also styles of jazz that have been taken around in many other genres, so indirect influence is entirely possible.

Jazz is very broad anyway, im not claiming you sound like Miles Davis or anything.

But imo, it is there.
