Chimaira's Coming Alive live album

the live show they had on their first DVD was way tighter

But at that time they didn't have all those new songs with a lot of fast/extreme drumming, that was started with Kevin Talley and then kept up with on Resurrection and the Infection.

Personal favorite has to be either Six or The Flame. Both are amazing songs on record but live, they're even better.

+1

Got the DVD, so after also checking the DVD, the untightness isn't really bad. It's more that it's all really unpolished and raw as fawk. Which is awesome I think. This is live, sounds live and just rocks. There are 2 DVD's in the package, both really awesome with lots of rehearsal and studio footage of the band! First DVD alone is allready 1.5 hours, then there is a 2nd DVD with a concert and more.

Deffinatelly worth the bucks!

OW P.s. it isn't that he slows down in the fast parts, it's more the speeds up on the slow parts...but that's just my feeling..

well he'd better have them played at their regular speed then IMO

good to hear the dvd is great, i like that band but i'm not a fanboy, but their dvds/videos are always awesome, with very interesting footage and so on... can't wait to see that new one

Sorry for necrobumping but i was listening back to this live album and thinking how awesome the guitars sounded...

Anybody knows some info on what was used (reamped ? what rig ? etc...) for those ?
