Christians demonstrating against a Gorgoroth.

I would not be surprised if they actually did support in some fashion. They all appear to be flaming homos.

I really don't think they have should be doing that, though. Would you like it if Atheists or Satanists hassled you as you walked into your church? It's the same principle.

What do you even mean "should be doing"? If those groups were peacefully preaching their ideologies (whatever that means to Atheists and Satanists), then they have the right to do it. I didn't see any "hassling" going on in that video.

Can't forget this

It doesn't seem like it should be any of their (the Christians) business. I'm not saying what they were doing is inherently wrong, but it does seem kind of rude. Most people going to that concert aren't Christian and most likely hold negative opinions about Christianity and organized religion in general. That church knew that but decided to go anyway, and I don't see what they thought they could accomplish.

It may be as simple as them wanting to take the gospel to people who need it. Not that metalheads need it more than other people. But who knows where else they do that sort of thing. They may do it at the park every Saturday. They didn't seem to be making the concert their business. I didn't hear them condemning anyone for going to the show. Yeah, it may be futile, and it may not.

The whole religion (Christianity) would benefit if it's members took a more hands off approach (quit trying to start something).

That was pretty stupid and pointless. I would've just told them to go home and find better things to do with their time.

Christians are entitled to defend all they like. However, that incident did absolutely nothing to help the situation. It's only gotten more people involved & it was reckless as it could have turned violent.

Exactly. It was badly misdirected motivation.

I don't think so. They don't seem to be protesting, just doing a bit of open air preaching. You can question the potential effectiveness, but they believe they are trying to help other people find the truth. In fact you might note that they are pretty committed to something that is rather inconvenient to themselves. They must be motivated by something other than their own interests.

if you are a satanist, would you go to a church and start preaching in sunday mass? that's just plain moronic. Knowing christians, they would have the exact (or worse) response to this kind of situation as we do. Maybe this just baffles you, but christians usually have way less tolerance towards other people's beliefs than most.

Ps: If you're wondering, no i'm no christian hater. It gets on my nerves that christians project themselves as cute tolerant white lambs and usually forget the first principle they've been taught. Love for others and no judgement.
