I didn't get any music 'haul' at all. I never do.

I bought Ensiferum - Iron, Norther - Death Unlimited and Norther - Mirror of Madness about a week ago though.

I only got one CD for Christmas: My Dying Bride's Angel and the Dark River, from my boyfriend. He's the only one that buys me CD's because I'm not friends with anyone else who listens to Metal, or who would want to buy me the music I want.

Everytime I meet someone who listens to Metal I get really excited until I see how stupid they are and dont' want to talk to them anymore... Plus it's rare that I even find someone who likes Metal, and so far I don't know anyone that likes my taste in Metal. Oh well.

I bought him a Bane CD and Throwdown's Christmas split with Good Clean Fun on vinyl.

i only got three Cd's...The Project Hate - Cybersonic Superchrist, Hypocrisy - Virus and a Metal compilation called Metal Masters - 7 Gates of Hell. all were good, but now i've said that i only want cd's for my b-day.

Anyway, currently listening to Hypocrisy - Virus.

Ooh I've been wanting that CD. I love Hypocrisy. Though I've only heard one song off it so far and it was the slow one. Is it really as good as everyone is saying? I've sort of been disappointed by Catch 22 and The Arrival. Is it better than those two?

Its good but not as good as everyone says it is, personnaly I liked both Catch 22 and The Arrival better than Virus. Virus is much more influenced by swedish death(not melodic) than any of Hypocrisy's other cds. I would recomend it.

i agree with amonamarth10, its more influenced by swedish death, but not melodic. its faster, more brutal and yea, i recommend it too. its a great cd but in my opinion Catch 22 is their best so far.
