I work at the mall. My life is Xmas shopping. I am hell. Favorite thing ever...

I love gift giving but I absolutely hate being bullied into giving by the season.. feeling like I'm giving only because I'm obliged to give. It's shit.

i just find it a good excuse to shower my mom with presents when she'd otherwise say 'why do you keep giving me stuff!" now i can say "BECAUSE IT"S CHRISTMAS MOM"

also incidentally December is when my car insurance is due and my gas bill is at its peak of $400 a month.

chromelife, that's why you start wayyyy early and just fuckin stockpile! i am so giddy i have to make an extra trip back to massachusetts to assure i will be able to carry all the presents i got my mom and dad.

no, I get the winter gas hike too, but probably not quite as bad. and remember, us folk in CA are getting royally screwed by the utilities. gas prices are fucked.
