:D

Let's say 2 songs per albums for a total of 16 songs, that should clock the concert into the vincinity of 3 hours.

What would be the setlist you think they will play vs. the setlist you would like to see them play ? eheheh ...

Also, would you prefer this to be immortalized on a DVD or on a Live CD ?

Think they will play:

01- Under The Weeping Moon
02- Forest Of October
03- Advent
04- To Bid You Farewell
05- When
06- Demon Of The Fall
07- Face Of Melinda
08- White Cluster
09- Bleak
10- The Drapery Falls
11- Deliverance
12- A Fair Judgement
13- In My Time Of Need
14- To Rid The Disease
15- Ghost Of Perdition
16- The Grand Conjuration

Would like to see them play:

01- In Mist She Was Standing
02- The Twilight Is My Robe
03- Advent
04- Black Rose Immortal
05- April Ethereal
06- When
07- The Moor
08- Godhead's Lament
09- The Leper Affinity
10- Blackwater Park
11- Wreath
12- Deliverance
13- Windowpane
14- To Rid The Disease
15- Ghost Of Perdition
16- Reveries/Harlequin Forest

Fuck Yeah ! and I would definitely go with the DVD

:hotjump:

Your turn !

I am assuming they will play different songs on each 3 nights, and they will make a DVD that will include all 3 nights, therefore on DVD we'll be able to listen to almost all Opeth songs.

if they make a DVD that is :D

Do I have to pick two off of each album? If I must, then here we go:

They probably will play:

Under The Weeping Moon
In Mist She Was Standing
Advent
To Bid You Farewell
When
Demon Of The Fall
Serentiy Painted Death
Face Of Melinda
The Drapery Falls
Blackwater Park
Deliverance
A Fair Judgement
Closure
To Rid The Disease
The Grand Conjuration
The Baying Of The Hounds

What I wuld want:
The Twilight Is My Robe
In Mist She Was Standing
Advent
To bid You Farewell
When
Demon Of The Fall
Godheads Lament
Serenity Painted Death
Deliverance
A Fair Judgement/By The Pain I See I Others (tough choice)
Closure
To Rid The Disease
Ghost Of Perdition
The Grand Conjuration (cuz its awesome live :))

Wow, looks like great setlist predictions. Yeah, definitely nice.

However, I think it's going to be pure torture to have to stay quietly seated during those Whoa!-peth songs. Whose crazy-ass idea was this again? It'll be torture I tell you. Pure torture! :Spin:

On the other hand, the seat would probably be a welcome thing during the Slow-peth parts. :p

I have no idea what they will play, live, and I'm not even going to venture a guess.
But what I would like them to play:
In Mist She Was Standing
Forest Of October
Advent
Black Rose Immortal
April Ethereal
When
The Moor
Godheads Lament
The Leper Affinity
Bleak
Deliverance
A Fair Judgement
Windowpane
Ending Credits
Ghost Of Perdition
Reverie/Harlequin Forest

Encore: Demon Of The Fall, hahaha

i doubt that. that would be a shit ton of songs to rehearse for, especially with a different drummer.

and "seated"

Can you imagine what it will look like if some people just cannot contain themselves during the faster songs and they stand up to thrash/headbang in place...only to sit down again during the slower songs?

It'll probably be a lot like a Catholic or Greek Orthodox mass! (stand up - sit down) It should make for a very interesting DVD. :D

Maybe Lopez is better now and is just waiting to suprise us all on this new tour!:Spin: :headbang: :worship: :tickled: :)

Now that would be the best thing ever... Even better than...uhh.... Beef Stew.
The L.A. Evening with Opeth and Martin back behind the drums...:dopey:

Oh and yeah it will be weird for the heavy songs... Some people will try and mosh in their seats HA:tickled: Ha.

my dream setlist, in no order:

When
White Cluster
Demon of the Fall
Bleak
Ghost Of Perdition
Windowpane
The Drapery Falls
Deliverance
To Rid the Disease
Baying Of the Hounds
Godhead's Lament
Isolation Years
By The Pain I See in Others
A Fair Judgement
Blackwater Park
The Leper Affinity

Well, there aren't actually seats at the venue in Chicago. I imagine Under the Weeping Moon is certain, since they've been playing it in Europe. I think Nectar is also a strong possibility along with Advent. Black Rose Immortal could happen. This is the only context I could see them playing it in.

What I'd want:

Set 1 (1hr 26mins) -
In the Mist She Was Standing
Under the Weeping Moon
Advent
To Bid You Farewell
When
Godhead's Lament
Serenity Painted Death
Bleak
--------------
Intermission
--------------
Set 2 (1hr 33mins) -
To Rid the Disease
Closure
Blackwater Park
Master's Apprentices
Deliverance
Ghost of Perdition
Baying of the Hounds
---------
Encore: Black Rose Immortal

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Everytime I go to HOB, there are no seats set up unless they use folding chairs or something. I got my tickets yesterday and it does say Section G.A. Row/Box G4 Seat 4 on them. Maybe a first come first serve if there are seats.

Anyways, any song will be great from every album. I would really like to hear some different ones live like Funeral Portrait, Wreath, Amen Corner, etc.

Does your HOB have the balcony section? I know HOB here in Atlantic City has a balcony section that holds probably about 1000 people, maybe more
