Favela of My Dismay
Recently discovered this band, any of you fine gents privy to their catalogue? I've only had the fortune to check out three songs due to time constraints and being inundated with new tunes. This is the song that has kicked my dick in and piqued by interest and curiosity. :headbang:

To answer my own question on this matter, it appears Tree of Knowledge looks to be the album to turn to. Though, I still need to scope out their split with Urfaust which is supposed to contain the act's best material.

Excuse the coon excerpt at the beginning of these yt tracks, they were inserted by these 2mpromo.com faggoths.

Uggghhh, this sounds like a cat being caught beneath the tires of Earl Dibble Jr's tractor. Good grief, stay away from this split. Singing out of key is not artistic in any way. Tree of Knowledge it tis.

Show me the way to the wishing wall beats having a gymnast's foot down your throat. Listened to the majority of Tree of Knowledge on the way in tonight, fell in love with the album on the first listen. Give it several go arounds Brandon, this is some unique music on display here, not your average fare by any means. I honestly don't even know how to categorize it. Just an amalgamation of pleasant sound.

Good band with a shitload of material, I guess I have everything they've released so far. I think the best stuff is either the acoustic recordings or harsher stuff.

Hails Mikko! How's it faring in bleak cold Finland? Any news on a new OF release?

Hey, it's been a while since I've write here! Cold and rainy summer here. New OF is mostly recorded, some harsh vocals and few additional tracks still missing. Guitar/bass/drums should be in the mixing stage, but it's been slow due to various reasons, hopefully things move faster now. We had some changes in the line-up, Tarvonen (Moonsorrow, Barren Earth etc.) is still on drums, now the bass is handled by Hinkka (Ensiferum) and we also have some clean vocals on the new album by X.JXXXXXX (Xxxxxxxx), rest by me with the exception of few quests. :)

Awesome news!! When's supposed to come out? We can do an interview in a French print magazine I'm part of now. :kickass:

Honestly no idea, it's been in mixing-state for months and I have zero control for that as I don't have any drum/bass/Clean vocal-tracks here. What I can say is that this time there's a lot more songs (9) and naturally they're also shorter than before. I only hope that we can finish this asap, because the line-up is great and I personally really like the material, although the recordings have taken ages (drums were recorded one year ago!).
