If you REALLY like classical guitars, IMNSHO the Japanese own the market. Yamaha and low end Takamine are the way to go.
However, if you are just getting into acoustic guitar, get a steel string first. In fact, get a "Jumbo western" style body. The name might fool you, but it is not a "country" guitar. That big body and those steel strings give you a kick ass sound. Takamine is also the first one I would buy as long as you are serious about it. You may have to go used to get one in your price range though.
Thanks for the suggestions. I already have a steel string, so I'm good on that end. I wish I could go higher, but as a 14 year old, I don't have that kind of money.
