clipping vocals - any chance to fix this?

Hey,

our vocalist recorded a song on his own and his vocals are clipping. I told him to retrack, but he wasnt really happy about it

Do you have any idea how to fix this.. or do you even think it doesnt really matter?

I don't think that should be a problem in a mix.

mmm i'd say retrack if you can. Depends what sortof level of quality you're trying to reach with the recording, it's always gonna sound a little dodgy with the clipping as it is.
