CLOUDSCAPE ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM VOICE OF REASON

"...On January 8, 2016 the fifth studio album by Cloudscape entitled Voice Of Reason will be released worldwide. The band describes the album to be another step forward but, also flirting with their early albums musically. The songs are a nice blend between straight forward, hard-hitting metal songs to more progressive and majestic tracks. Voice Of Reason was mixed and produced by Anders “Theo” Theander at RoastingHouse Studios. The artwork was once again created by Mattias Norén...."

Here's the song. The start sounds a bit messy but then the chorus is pretty nice and the end parts of the songs with no vocals are cool before the chorus takes us home. They are probably aiming for a heavier sound.

I like this song and look forward to hearing the whole album.

Checking this out today, pretty decent overall. I remember getting disappointed with these guys somewhere along the way after the first 2 albums.

Long time fan of the band..... This album is a bit hit and miss, as there are some GREAT songs on here (the title track might be their best yet), but there are also some exceedingly generic songs. Someone else said they are trying to appeal to too many different cross-genres on one album, and I tend to agree.
