Clubs in London

Does anyone know of any rock clubs in London that will be open on Halloween? I'm going down to see Lacuna Coil & Sentenced with a few friends, and can't get back to Brum till the next morning, so we want to go to a club after the gig. So if anyone knows of anywhere, and what type of music will be playing , I would be very grateful.

Not sure what's open on a thursday night, but one of these might be

St Moritz (varies, but generally kinda nu-metally)

The Borderline (again varies - indie, metal, whatever)

Both are a short walk from the Astoria, but I dont think that they are open all night.

Other options are:

1) Eat a chinese - lots of restraunts in Chinatown are open thru the night - as is the Mcdonalds near Leicester square.

2) Easy Everything Internet Cafes - www.easyeverything.com are open 24/7, for a few quid, you can stay somewhere warm. You might have a few tramps for company tho :)

There's also a rock club at the Arts Theater club on Frith Street, just close to Ronnie Scotts. Its in a basement, so its easy to walk past.

On the other side of Frith Street is 'Garlic and Shots' - London's most 'metal' resteraunt - everything on the menu comes with garlic and they play metal. There's also a 'Goth' bar in the cellar - but its only open until 1AM. Just down the street, there is Bar Italia, which is open all night serving coffee and Italian snacks.

hope that helps!

I don't think there's anything regular metalwize on a thursday at the moment.

There's a big Halloween metal club night on the Friday (1st Nov.) at the ElecroWerks. I got the nice shiny flyer after the In Flames gig - can't find a URL or i'd post it.

This might mean that no one is planning anything special on Thursday.

As far as I know the best thing you can do is pop round the corner to the CrowBar (Mannet St. on the way to the Borderline). It's just a nice little bar that stays open late (till 3 i think) and has some metal on the juke box and some metallers often go there after gigs (and on Saturdays).
