Even if it's worth getting the Lava Cables, I can't afford them.. nope!
And the ones with a solid core, cost too much here..

I've made my own cables before, but I've never used coaxial cable..
I can order coaxial cable with shielding, pretty cheap..
But I have no idea what specifcation to order.

RG174 50 ohm ø3 mm /m
Or
RG213 50 ohm ø11 mm /m (twice the price as the one above)

Maybe it's a bad idea to use coaxial?..
I've never used solid core for music so I don't know if it's better or worse..
Advice is appreaciated!

Will it work?
Or should I stick with cheaper audiocable..

Neither of those are solid core wires. And neither would be good for a guitar cable.

You realize that RG-174 is veryyyyy thin, it's what amp builders use inside amps.

Why not just use coax cable that was made for guitar? It's called shielded guitar cable :-) Last time I checked you can get 'good' stuff for less than a dollar per foot.

Thanks for the replies!

@Wolfeman
You're right, it was too thin, but it still says solid core.. :S

Seems coax sucks cox..
So I won't use it..

Almost the cheapest I can find:
http://www.thomann.de/se/cordial_cik_122_sw.htm
It costs a dollar per meter..

This one costs 5 times as much:
http://www.thomann.de/se/sommer_cable_the_spirit_xxl.htm
But claims that it "sounds very pressureful and clear with Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, ... Low loss transmission becuase of low capacity. Very thomann flexible and easilybleble extremly long lived and durably because of a special coating; 1x 0,75mm²"

Is it all mumbo jumbo?
Go for (not the cheapest) cheaper alternative?
