I saw the Big Lebowski on cable once, I forget what station. It was the censored version, hence John Goodman uttering the line:

DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS?!

That's freaking hilarious. I can't believe an edited version was ever made!
Anyway, yeah, Dick, I've been quoting the phone conversation every day for about a week now for no particular reason.
My favorite part is:
"This is a fuckin emergency!"
"I know. That's why I picked up the phone." It's just in the way he says it.

I originally voted for Hudsucker, but it has come to my attention that there is NO MOVIE greater than Raising Arizona. FACT

Hudsucker Proxy and Lebowski are still close though.


Also, I finally saw Barton Fink a month or so ago, and Goodman totally steals the show here.
