"Am I the only one that gives a fuck about the Rules around here?!"
no no no no! it's "am i the only one around here who gives a shit about the rules?!" ;)
anyway, i went with "arizona" even though i've seen "lebowski" more times.
"well, then, i guess i *am* telling you what you want to hear."

Ive only seen Fargo, The Big lebowski and O brother... but i went with the Big lebowski that movie is pure genius some of the lines are absolute classics like the before mentioned. i think Fargo is a close second in both those movies the casting was excellent in my opinion

I've been going through all my Coen bros dvds lately, Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Fargo and, of course, the GREATEST FILM OF ALL TIME

Dude here.
Who eez thees?
Dude, the bagman, where the fuck you want us to go?
Us?!?
Shit!
DUDE ARE YOU FUCKIN THIS UP!

all great indeed ... need to revisit Barton Fink and Miller's Crossing ...

also thought that Intolerable Cruelty was fucking brilliant ... Clooney is great in their flicks.

Big Lebowski, although Fargo, Raising Arizona, O Brother, and Barton Fink are pretty god damn killer (haha, that's all I've seen, guess it's time to watch the rest :loco: ). Oh yeah and a giant FUCK YOU to whoever created the menu loop for the Barton Fink DVD, it gives away a major turn of events.

See what happens, Larry? Do you see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass, Larry?

I just... want to handle things on my own from now on...

Yes the car made it home okay, you're calling me at home.
--
No Walter, it didn't look like Larry was about to crack!
--
Well that's your perception.
--
Yeah, there is an unspoken message, it's FUCK YOU! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!
--
Yes, I'll be at practice...

It's a tough choice, but I think I will to go with Fargo. Big L is extremly smart and funny, but there is something really great in fargo; I really care for the people in the movie in all their stupidness and naivete. The pitch black humor that's present throughout the film is something that's pretty rare, and of course, the actors are just great.

Blood Simple is pretty cool, but not as good as their later creations.

I think Miller's Crossing is pretty different from other movies they've made but very good -- and also perhaps somewhat overlooked? Anyway that scene were some maffioso dude's house is attacked while he's in bed listening to opera is pure gold. I've never seen anyone handle a Tommy gun so casually :loco:
