COF I am the thorn/Obscura vocal plugin effect?

Hi,
I've been wondering for a while... What did they use on those vocals on the I am the thorn song?
They use it on this lyrics:
"Bouquets for greed and twisted law
Handmaidens of a holy war...."
I heard Obscura doing (I guess) the same effect on some of their 'clean' vocals.
Anyone have an idea or other effects that sound kinda like this? I think it's cool and I'd like to use it.

Don't know about Obscura, but "I am the thorn" is a vocoder blended with the dry vocals... Sounds pretty killer imo

Yes it sounds really nice in the COF song.
In Obscura it sounds pretty boring imo.
