Coheed and Cambria - Second Stage Turbine Blade Tour

In fairness to the band, they didn't cancel the show. They found a replacement. I think that shows a good bit of the whole 'having it together' thing.

When you're arrested for bomb threats to steal oxycotin minutes before you're supposed to hit the stage, you're doing a disservice to your band and your fans in two ways. You're putting the entire show in jeopardy, and could cause your future to go down the drain. "Coheed and Cambria? Aren't you the guys who had to cancel the show at the last minute because your bassist was out stealing drugs? I think we'll go with someone else."

Yes. Reputation.

Actually, it's more like...

"Coheed and Cambria? Aren't you the guys who had to cancel the show at the last minute because your bassist THREATENED TO BLOW UP A PLACE while stealing drugs? I think we'll go with someone else."

When you kill the singer of Hanoi Rocks in a drunk driving accident you're doing a disservice to your band and your fans in two ways... but that never stopped Motley Crue from being where they are today. And canceling one show (which they didn't) would never cause the future of an entire band to go down the drain, it would just cost them some money.

And it would be more like "Coheed and Cambria? Aren't you the guys who had to cancel the show at the last minute because your bassist was out stealing drugs? Oh well, you make me a ton of money anyways, so we'll still go with you"

"Slipknot? Didn't your bassplayer die of a drug overdose? Oh well, book them to co-headline every Sonisphere festival in Europe!"

Yes, and incredibly respectable. C&C and especially Claudio are nothing but class acts ... at least the ones not stealing drugs. I'm thrilled they didn't allow this to stop their show, and probably went out and blew the crowd away.

Mike Monroe is dead? When did that happen? ;)

Actually, it was Razzle who was killed in the car accident w Vince Neil driving. Anyway, drummers are a dime a dozen so it's okay that you didn't remember who it was haha ;)))
