Coil/Silent Lucidity-Queensryche

Am I the first to realize that both these songs share a similar acoustic part?
Did Mikael listen to Queensryche's "Silent Lucidity" and decide to feature the acoutistic riff??!?!? The Queensryche song does go off into a gay tangent, so i credit Mikael for keeping the riff tasteful in a short melodic and beautiful ballad.

I'm a huge fan of Silent Lucidity but not once have I considered connecting the two.

Gay tangent? Silent Lucidity in its entirety is epic.

I would also have never thought of Silent Lucidity while listening to Coil.

I've listened to Silent Lucidity quite a lot and I didn't think even once that Coil reminded me of it. I still don't think it does.
