Even if 99% OF THE WHOLE WORLD say that "Fuck, I shouldn't have dropped school" there's still people doing it, that's weird.
I, my self, aren't a partisan of the "YOU GOT TO HAVE A DIPLOMA TO BE SOMEONE IN OUR WORLD!" but I don't really get people who still drop school... I mean, yeah maybe you don't like that (For myself I actually fucking love that) but I'm pretty sure you'll regret that one day. 5 people I know who are 20-25 are going back to school.

Hahah well, I quit it mostly due to some stuff I was going through, and I still don't know what to study. And I knew it was stupid to quit, but I definitely will start again in a year. No loss really, I feel much better about doing that now than I ever did before. And at least I have time to think about what I want to do..

well, if you don't have a diploma, you are saying you are unable to finnish High School. If you are unable to finish highschool, why would a job hire you over the 5 other applicants who CAN finish highschool.
Having a degree just says "I know wtf I'm doing, and dedicated 4 years of my life to training for this thing", such a thing.
Of course there are people who need time to figure out what they want to do, or people who need to put school on hold to help earn some money for their family.
But thats pretty much the just of it.
Every job is a competition, not being educated just puts you in the shit pile.

Yeah, leaving for difficulties or rethinking your orientation is different. (Oh, and btw I don't have anything AGAINST people who dropped school, all my uncles dropped, I've got friend who did too and they are nice person, don't get me wrong.)
I'm confused by what you mean by "Here's your problem"? But I just haven't found any girls yet other than that one I asked out 2 1/2 years ago, I don't know, maybe it's a case of me being too picky, I don't know.
Yeah, I dont know of a college that doesnt have high speed internet, that's the place I got me high speed at for free, pretty much a LAN connection. well not really free since it's like 6000 $ a year to go there.

Ah well. I understand what you mean. I took this job because I knew that I'd get sick of it one day (that day is like... 2 months ago already) and working 40 hours a week for a shitty loan isn't what I want to keep doing for the rest of my life. I just wish it was easier to find a goddamn study I like -_-'

College isn't the best time of your life.
But it's the time when you cease to be your parents' extension to actually become someone, and you see it happen. It's worth it.

I absolutely despise school.
I just finished spring term of my junior(3rd) year at a ridiculously strict University. I have this coming week off and go back for summer term next Tuesday. It's part of the program I'm signed up for, going all-year. I graduate next June and I just can't wait.
It's been harder on me than most people because I have some learning and anxiety problems due to a medical disorder so school is nothing but horror. I DO agree though with the concept of "college is the best years of your life". It really is because in general, you have freedom from your parents(if you live away from home), you begin to find who you want to be as an independent adult and yet you know what you have to do "tomorrow". Those years are given structure whereas once you're done- no one guarantees you anything and the world is your playing field where it's very easy to lose the battle.
Plus, those years are rewarded in the end with a piece of paper that says you're more qualified for a position than the next guy who has a high school diploma at best. Professionals are likely to take you more seriously at least at first and it's a symbol of dedication and perseverance.
It also depends on what you're getting a degree in though... unless you're in it for a Master's or beyond and plan to teach and aren't focusing on money, liberal arts is just a dumb idea. I know a kid here who went from being an Engineering major to a business major to an English major just because he didn't feel like having to think so much.

I'm hoping I got 3 semesters of school left, I'm going to take 18 hours my last 2 semesters so I can fulfill my 120 hours, I'm majoring in Communications and Minoring in Business Management and just completed 4 semesters of school.
