I watched something funny they did with Doug on a festival somewhere in Holland (years ago). Do you know those Dixie toilets they have on festivals? (Terrible things!!!) Well Doug went on one and closed the doors. The Saxon tourbus driver (was it Barry? I can't remember!) suddenly saw not far away a little fork lift truck standing with the keys still there to use it. He jumped on it, drove with that thing to Dougs toilet and lifted them both - Doug + toilet - up in the sky!!! You can imagine the loud screams of Saxon's guitar player, poor man!!!! It must be a terrible feeling, sitting on the potty and it's flying away with you!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing, when I watched that!!!

On the Metalhead tour myself and a few friends went to Cardiff in Wales to see Saxon. I was driving so was unable to drink but my brother made up for it by drinking the quantity of alcohol I would have as well as his own intake.
Saxon played probably the best show I've seen then play that night so I was down the front leaping around like a lunitic all night. When the band broke into Denim and Leather at the end of the night I suddenly became aware of a staggering person appearing on the side of the stage.
They then made there way over to Biff before cuddling him in a "I love you, your my best mate" drunken fashion. This person was my brother and he still doesn't know how he ended up on the stage that night!!
