Froggy France!
Hey

I'm quite new in using gears like that and I'm feeling f*ckin' retarded asking this so I hope you won't be nasty with me haha!
How can I connect a Presonus Eureka preamp to a Digi003? I guess using spdif is a good way?

Here is how I see things...

Mic -> Presonus In
Presonus spdif Out -> Digi003 spdif In
Presonus Out -> Digi003 In

Do I have to use Word Clock?

Also if I wanna record a bass through a DI, how use the compressor of the Presonus?

Thanks for your help!!!

No, the Eureka doesn't have an SPDIF connection. You would connect a balanced 1/4" TRS cable from the eureka TRS output to inputs 5, 6, 7 or 8 on the back of the 003

no clocking is needed

not trying to be a smartass but maybe RTFM?

the compressor should be active when you plug in to the instrument input on the front of the unit unless the bypass button is engaged
