To be fair, I think it's safe to say that Islam currently has much more of an effect on the daily life of the average Muslim than Christianity does on the average Christian, so it may be legitimate to have concern over a political candidate whose agenda is based in Muslim social norms.

It seems like it could be pretty messy if a practicing Muslim or maybe any kind, was in the White House. Like the radical Islamists might be even more mad at him than if he was a non-Muslim. Especially if he didn't govern the US based on Muslim beliefs. I think they don't separate religion and politics much.
