My local Auburn/Opelika Alabama classic rock radio station does a lot of 80's metal and hard rock on Saturday nights. You do get hair metal hits like Bon Jovi etc. but they also do Dio, AC/DC (some deeper tracks by them, why I mentioned it) Triumph and such. I know there are thousands of internet radio stations out there..... because I have delved into it from time to time, but I was actually quite surprised a local station is pretty good.
Fair warning..... weekdays on the station is prototypical classic rock. Not that it is a bad thing, as I love late 60's-70's rock, but they don't go real far out of the box on the song choices. It is typically just the big hits they play and obviously those stations are a dime a dozen.
