Guys,

I 'have' a Radial X-Amp (it is not actually, it is from the place I work...) and for some reason I cant get it not to hum. Tried like a dozen cables, made one this afternoon myself and the thing hums like a motherfucker when the TRS end is hooked to anything.

Anyone?

That sounds like a ground loop issue, not a wiring issue.
Here you go anyway:

Pin 1 and sleeve should be the ground wire.

Exactly what is there. I actually used this image to make my cable. Btw, ground lift improves the matter a little bit, but not much. It still hums

So, amp, interface, reamp box, computer, tubescreamer , everything on the same power conditioner?

I have never reamped but when my laptop is plugged into the same power strip as my 6505 it hums like biatch... so maybe its the computer?
