I'm working on recording and mixing for a friends band.

Here is the latest mix for their song "Afterlife".

What I could really use, and would be very grateful to receive, is some constructive feedback regarding mix critique. And suggestions for improvement.

I didnt write or play on this song. I'm strictly in the engineer seat for this one.

yeah, sounds great!
If anything, i'd say it lacks a bit of brightness and the bass gtr is a little loud. But i dont listen to this style of metal much, maybe this is the convention?
