DIO are playing in London in October. Haven't decided whether to go yet. He is a great singer but also a complete arse!

Going June 30th at Holmdel, N.J. at the P.N.C. Bank Arts Center. Deep Purple are the headliners, preceded by Scorpions and Dio. Missed out on a closer show last night in Columbia, MD. My main reason for going is Dio. I`ve seen Deep Purple several times with their ``classic`` line-up, so I know I won`t give them a fair chance Sunday without Mr. Blackmore or Mr. Lord. Scorps are o.k., but not a must see for me. I haven`t seen Dio since Sabbath`s ``Mob Rules`` Tour, so this trip is long overdue. He`ll probably only play 30-45 minutes as the opener, so that will be a bit of a disappointment. Maybe a headline tour will follow. Hope so, anyway.

Wow what a good line up. How much are tickets just out of interest? Just wondering what they would charge for a line up like that. Deep purple recently played over here and I think it was over £30 for a ticket! And that is without 2 other class acts.

My ticket was $35.75, plus $8.25 computer ``convenience charge``, plus $2.25 ``building/facility`` charge. $46.25 in all. Not bad for three solid acts. The WHO/Robert Plant Tour is costing between $105.00 and $154.00 plus the other charges. DIO, Scorps, and Deep Purple are quite a value around here lately.
