If it's the version I'm thinking of, it's actually a band called Dispatched. I've got the CD somewhere.
oh. . .well i do know that norther did one. . .and everyone said "oh thats norther" so i figured they were talking about the same one. .

hmm damn!
i always thought it was by cob!!!...it sounds so similar to cob's style..
im still impressed

lol yeah...
i had only heard killin me killin you by sentenced...huge difference dont you think??
hahaha thats why i cant beleive it

O.K., I don't know if we are talkin about the same Trooper cover. The one I have I knew was not CoB as soon is I heard the singing, but The Trooper I got is pretty fast pased, and the first verse is in growling vocals, the second is growling+clean, and the rest is pretty much clean. I have never really listend to Sentenced but I saw them with In Flames a couple years ago, and I have a hard time believing it is Sentenced

I think the cover of "the trooper" that you're talking about is the one by Lord Belial. Its faster pased than the one done by sentenced and has more black metal type vocals.

Well, I haven't heard the Lord Belial's version, but usually the Trooper cover mistaken for CoB is the Sentenced one. And if someone can't believe it, it's just because Sentenced's newer stuff is pretty much different to their older stuff. On the older albums they had some growling vocs etc. Just check it out yourself. That cover song is on the Sentenced compilation album "The Story". Check that out also.

And earlier someone asked if Don't Stop At The Top is on any CoB album: Yes, it is at least on the Spinefarm digipack version of Follow the Reaper.

I think that's on the "Something Wild" Special Edition album. I have that version of the album, as well, but I'm just too lazy to go check.

No, it's not. As I said a couple of posts up, it's on the Spinefarm digipack edition of Follow the Reaper. At least. It might be on some other different versions of FtR, too, but I don't have my collection at hand now so I could check.

Does the SpineFarm digipack also include Hellion and Shot in the Dark? I am confused now ~_~

Nope, those songs are on the Toy's Factory (Japan) release, I think. And Hellion can be found also on the Hate Me! cd single.
