Crabcore Cover Song

A couple of friends are paying me to do a cover song of attack attack! with them. How does this sound so far? I was just putting in some guitar tones and this is what I have. This is one of the few AA songs I actually like.

Sounds really similar ! What did you use for the drums?

I used the big fatty kit with snare 12a and kick 10. Just did a little compression and eq to taste, I haven't done much them yet.

Sounds very nice! But I don't dig the snare.. expacially the room. Sounds too seperated from the rest!
What I really love are the synth in the beginning! Pls tell me what you used to create them!
