Crackings in after drum rolls edits

Hi,

I'm currently editing some drums and I noticed that I can hear crackings on some very fast drum rolls as this one (there is no kick) :

I have slip edited nearly each note of this drum roll so I'm thinking maybe there are just too many edits for such a high tempo?

Has anyone ever encountered this kind of problems?

you mean the digital crackling? could be just too many bad edits or too much stretching.

What do you mean by "bad edits"?
I've used the slip edit tutorial proposed by Adam, so the whole kit is edited. Here is a screenshot of the edited roll : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11383191/Edits2.jpg

What do you think was bad in my edits?

You need to enable the auto fade / crossfade features for your tracks.

do you have to enable the cross fade when using adams plug? I haven't and sometimes some crackling in the kick track.
