Very Good list, indeed, Swine!
I would add these, though....

HELTER SKELTER - a classic song, done even better by Motley. Slamming
PIECE OF YOUR ACTION (the solo could lead into Mick's solo and back in to the song)
CITY BOY BLUES - I dunno why but this was always one of my favorite songs
and finally,
For the final tune............it is their farewell and all.........

ON WITH THE SHOW

I think that'd be a killer tune to end with!

I couldn't find room for "Too Young to Fall in Love" & one of my unedrrated faves, "City Boy Blues(it's not a blues track)."

Mick isn't known to do a solo, at least like most of the 80's Rock bands.
He does some brief noodling around & then kick into another song.
Minimum "whanking" when it comes to Mick...

MÖTLEY CRÜE To Announce Reunion Tour At Dec. 6 Press Conference - Nov. 23, 2004

MÖTLEY CRÜE are rumored to be planning a press conference on Monday, December 6 to announce the reunion tour by the group's original lineup: Vince Neil (vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums) and Mick Mars (guitar). The press conference will reportedly be held in Los Angeles and will be followed by the band's appearance at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast live on Fox.

A full-blown MÖTLEY CRÜE reunion trek is expected to kick off in the first quarter of 2005. The band hasn't toured with all four original members since 1999. A greatest-hits collection, featuring at least two new songs, is due in early 2005. A brand new studio CD is being discussed for a possible late 2005 release.

MÖTLEY CRÜE have already demoed at least four songs for inclusion on their "greatest hits" album and/or brand-new studio release, including "Black Roses", "Another Bad Day", "Entertain Us" and "Get Out". The material, which was recorded at studios in Los Angeles and Las Vegas (photo), is described by Sixx as "very MÖTLEY sounding, I'd say 'Dr. Feelgood' meets 'Shout At the Devil'. It's true rock 'n' roll. Nothing more, nothing less."

Although the band have yet to confirm the report, Britain's Metal Hammer magazine revealed last month what it claims are the details of the band's upcoming U.K. tour in June 2005. Those dates are as follows:

Jun. 14 – Glasgow, UK @ SECC
Jun. 15 - Manchester, UK @ MEN
Jun. 17 - Cardiff, UK @ Int'l Arena
Jun. 18 - Birmingham, UK @ NEC
Jun. 19 - Wembley, UK @ Arena

MÖTLEY CRÜE: New Live DVD, Tribute Album On The Way - Nov. 24, 2004

In addition to the previously announced "greatest hits" collection featuring one or two new songs (tentatively due in January 2005), MÖTLEY CRÜE are planning on releasing the first-ever DVD featuring the band's four original members, according to a document leaked to MelodicRock.com. The tentative release date for the DVD is July 2005. Plans also exist for an "all-star" tribute album to MÖTLEY CRÜE, with a target release date of September 2005. Also in the works is a soundtrack to "The Dirt", the forthcoming Paramount film based on the best-selling autobiography of MÖTLEY CRÜE.

The U.S. leg of MÖTLEY CRÜE's upcoming reunion tour, which will be officially announced at a press conference in Los Angeles on Monday, December 6, will take place in February/March 2005 and will cover the following cities:

I would like them to do a small club date tour & ask Corabi to do it & do the entire disc! That would be an event for me!
The Corabi record is amazing! And it was ahead of it's time! Think about it: it mixed the blues, grunger, rock n roll, and pure metal into a cohesive, tight KICK-ASS display of aggression!
In my view, it's better than ANYTHING they released after Shout.

I love the drum sound that Bob Rock got on that record for Tommy Lee.
It's fuckin' monsterous! That record has it all, well written songs & just "no cheese."

I totally agree. I even saw them on that tour. If I rememeber correctly, they played the whole album except Poison Apples and Droppin Like Flies. It was a good show

I email back & forth with Metal Sludge webmaster Stevie Rachelle
& I asked him how he felt about VH-1 using his footage?!
He loved it! I asked if he felt bad about Vince getting the #1 slot?!
HE said Hell No!

Unfortunately they cancelled the tour due to poor ticket sales & they never made out to Oregon. Didn't they have Type O Negative opening?!
How about an odd combo?!
I like Poison Apples, Nikki added Mott the Hoople line in the studio, Bob Rock had a tool box, that had "Mott the Hoople" written on it...
I like Drift Away, Till Death do Us Part is as "epic" as Motley will ever get..
Smoke the Sky!
Uncle Jack is just twisted!
Hooligan's Holiday is insane!!!!! My Favorite track on the album I think!

They did have TON opening, but they didn't take them to Mexico. Pretty good songs on that album indeed. It just sounded so different from everything else they had done and well, I've never really been a fan of Vince Neil's voice and I thought John Corabi did a very good job. I liked Hammered a lot, Misunderstood is cool too :)

Loud As Fuck is the only Crue best-of you need. 38 songs, and they are 38 of the best songs too (except you can ditch the Generation Swine songs haha).

I have Decade and Greatest hits I will NOT buy another GH album not for just 2 more new songs noway
I'm hard core & I will buy it, for the two tracks.
I'll burn you a copy of the new tunes JD, don't worry about it!
I'm considering seeing them in Seattle & Portland. I just can't believe they will be together for one last run...

In the states they issued three box sets, none of which I picked up yet.
I think I will pick them up as I see them used. I can't fathom shelling out
$39.00-$59.00 per set! That could pay for concert tickets for Christ's sake!
