In another streak of brilliance, Mikael Akerfeldt decided that the new album, comming in late August early September, will be called Crushing Reveries. Akerfeldt: "It seems that Ghosts are unhip these days. My inspiration for the title name came from early Scooby-Doo episodes I watched when I was little. Roadrunner, my new homies, did some R&D, but found out that people are not fascinated by Ghost anymore. They did come with some great alternatives."
The track Ghost of 'da Peridizzle will still bear it's original name. "I didn't want to rewrite the lyrics, 'cuz I had to hang out with Davies and Fred Dhurst and the other cool guys at 'dis crushing club downtoan."
