Yay, I get to see Cryptopsy again.
Too bad I have to sit through God awful Forbid, but it's worth it.
Hoping to hear some new songs live, and hopefulyl a drum solo. Plus the place is joke small, so meeting them again will be easy.

Insane! They played as a four piece, Alex did all the guitars.
The venue was tiny, so Flo had to set up his drums before the set. Seeing that thing constructed from the ground up was interesting. They didn't use the top level of cymbals though, guess they wanted to salvage some time. Venue was a mess orginization wise. Cryptopsy didn't get on till 1 am. They were pissed, drove 6 hours to come here and after the show had to drive 6 hours back up to Canada.
Now, this is the third time I've seen them and def the best they've ever been. Killer fucking setlist.

3.) Benedictin Convulsions (My fav song off NSV )

6.) Frantic Pace of Dying
7.) Mutant Christ (WHAT THE FUCK?! AMAZING!)
8.) Cold Hate Warm Blood
9.) Adeste Infidelis (Second best song on the new album.)
10.) Phobophile
Insane show. Believe me, see these guys on tour in the upcoming months.

I hung out with the worm after their show for about an hour backstage. We discussed English, music and the roots of language. Offstage he's a pretty cool, mellow, laid back type of dude, completely unlike the fucking MONSTER who savagely assaulted my ears onstage.

The show itself was great too. Even God Forbid were pretty good, and they went on at 2:20.
