Dear Cubase 4 friends...

We’re very pleased to announce that the updates to Cubase 4.1 and Cubase Studio 4.1 are now available on our website, please use the links below to get to the download pages. There a total of over 50 new features in the update, which include some features we’ve already announced like free routing and sidechains for the VST3 plug-ins, as well as some we haven’t, like Track Quick Controls and MusicXML support. Of course, there are numerous “smaller enhancements” too, so 4.1 includes many fixes.

I would be down but I'm still using SX3 from years ago.

Until I get a mac I'm not going to buy another DAW. (logic 8 or DP5)

I didn't install it... Free audio routing and side chaining is the main thing I think... But I'm afraid plugins will have to be VST3 so most of the plugins won't work for a while (my guess).

Actually don't install it people, lots of complains on the Cubase.net Forum...

I installed it and now cubase supports old power-pc mac plugs, side chaining plus a bunch of other new features.
Kickass!!!

I'm using Mac. The key is to delete the "preferences" folder before starting the program. If you don't something screws up the plugins.

have a mac book pro (newest version) and installed the update.
Working fine.But I have the feeling that it eats more CPU.
So I hope there will be a bugfix in the near future. But it runs total stabel!dont get me wrong
